IP Management
CRC BID’s IP management is based on the National Principles of Intellectual Property Management for Publicly Funded Research . The Participants Agreement provides the detail as to how these principles are enacted.
The IP arrangements distinguish between background IP and centre IP. The arrangements encourage existing CRC participants to contribute in the expectation of receiving value from centre IP developed from background IP, as well as allowing new participants to join the CRC in flexible ways.
IP will be exploited through a well-defined commercialisation pathway and managed on a continuous basis by the Commercialisation and IP Management Committee.
