A CRCBID education seminar designed to facilitate cross-discipline communication among the research participants of the CRCBID was held in July. Members of the research teams came together over two days to share information and learn about specific projects and their outcomes.

Papers were presented by representatives from both the CRCBID radiopharmaceutical stream and the detectors stream, as well as a session on intellectual property. Participants indicated that the seminar gave them more of a sense of working in a joint venture than on isolated research activities.

Another seminar is planned for 2010.
